so, many celebration are held during this day..
their parents will spend time together with their children and doing something special with them..
average Korean family will raise 1 or 2 or 3 children in their family..
maybe this is because of their expensive living cost in Korea..
furthermore, nowadays parents are really care about their children education..
they spend a lot of money on education..

so what this Children day related to me? do i have any children???
of course NOT yet... hehhe
but i'm a children..kkkk
Since i am very hardworking and interested in joining the one of
Children day's event in Suwon..
Suwon is the city where Ajou University located..like Bangi la..

This event was called Global Window located at Suwon Youth Centre..
since i'm participated combined together with Indonesia and Myanmar friends in 1 booth named ASEAN Booth.. there are many booth participate from many countries and NGO's..

So what should we do? We have to promote and introduce about our country culture..
since the budget given was KRW250,000 for 3 country, so each of country
decide to prepare 1 traditional food and introduce any culture material like music instrument, clothe and so on..

We started doing all preparation from 2 weeks before the event, from meeting, discussion, material collected, shopping for cooking ingredient and so on..

For Malaysian food, i have prepared Karipap.. Indonesia food is Sate and Bakwan while Myanmar food is Floating Rice ball kind of porridge desert..
i have prepared all 100+- Karipap by my self start from cooking the "inti", making the cover at Ayla's room since she have enough equipment and i don't have to ques up for the stove at dormitory kitchen..
but she's not there to help me because of emergency thing in Seoul.. luckily 4 exchange student from Utem come to stay at that night at Ayla's house and i asked for their help and Kak Elida came to help after her lab until 3a.m and evertyhing completed..seyessss tired...:(

 With my Korean friend..

This is my job part during the event...handle food..

okesss, lets vote for the most gorgeous girl? weehhiiii. :p
all of them are participant from Cameroon and Guatemala booth..

yummmy, this is our Malaysian Curry Puff..although this is my first time making this Karipap, i'm happy that Korean people like it, also another participant from other booth keep come and eat my Karipap and another food from our Asean booth.

A few games or activities handle during this event..and this is from China booth..

It's really fun and enjoyed when many people especially children came during this event and enjoyed our activities.. all the sales from our food were completed around 3 p.m since the event starts at 10 a.m..

Here my friends from Cameroon, Pakistan, Mexico, Kazakhstan.. They came from Ajou to support us.. thanksss guysssss

yesss, this is one of the activity that attract me to tries.. i don't know what the significant of doing this, but it's really enjoyed.. what we have to do is, fill the colored water into plastic hand finger shape and tight it up on the top of the booth.. i think it's kind of wish purpose..maybe..

Guatemala have a very interesting gamed played during kids birthday's celebration..where the kids will be spinning around for the number of their age, after that he/she will kick the box.. it repeated by a few kids until the box broken.. and what inside the box????
it was candy..

so berebut2 la all the budaks termasukla org2 tua like me..hahahaha

around 4pm everything settled and i'm very tired quickly go back to dormitory..
                                                               So2 relieve when everything settled..

And you know, that 3 days after the Children day is Parents Day on 8 May but it's not a public holiday in South Korea.. the culture of Korean is they give a flower or present to their parents.. so to all parents outside,

                                                                 HAPPY PARENTS DAY..
